The Eras Tour has created a unique set of traditions between Taylor Swift and her fans. Here are some of the most popular ones:

Friendship Braclets
Inspired by the lyric “So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it” from You’re On Your Own, Kid, fans create and trade colorful beaded bracelets featuring song lyrics, album names, inside jokes, and more.

Dress Codes & Outfits
Fans dress up in outfits inspired by different Eras—from Debut sundresses and cowboy boots to Reputation snake-themed outfits and Lover pastel ensembles. Some even recreate iconic Taylor Swift music video looks, which can be see by the recreating of the lyric "I'm a crumpled up piece of paper" from "All Too Well."

The “1, 2, 3 LGB!” Chant
During Delicate in the Reputation era, fans chant “1, 2, 3, LGB!” in reference to a viral tweet where a girl screamed this during Delicate during the Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018.

Light-Up Wristbands
Each audience member gets a wristband that syncs to the music and creates stunning visuals across the stadium, enhancing the experience.

Standing Ovation
At the end of Champagne Problems, there was an unspoken contest between cities for how long the applause would be after champagne problems. The longest was at 8 minutes during LA Night 6.

Flashlights During Marjorie
During Marjorie, fans turn on their phone flashlights, creating a sea of lights throughout the stadium. This has become an emotional tribute to Taylor’s late grandmother, Marjorie Finlay.

The Karma Lyric Change for Travis Kelce
In recent shows, Taylor has changed the lyrics of Karma to “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me,”referencing her relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce.

Singing “Taylor, You’ll Be Fine”
During Anti-Hero, fans chant “Taylor, you’ll be fine!” in reference to the remix of the song with The Bleachers

The Hand Hearts
During "Fearless" fans make heart shapes with their hands, a long-standing tradition dating back to the Fearless era.

Blank Space
During the 1989 World Tour, Taylor would sing the name of the city she was performing in during Blank Space. So during the chorus, fans shout the name of the city they're in.

"Like Ever"
Throughout the tour, background dancer Kam changes the way he says "Like ever" during "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" in the Red era.

Number 13
Taylor considers 13 her lucky number—she was born on December 13, and it has appeared throughout her career. During the early years of her tours, Taylor would draw 13 on her hand in marker as a good luck charm. Now, many fans do the same for The Eras Tour as a tribute to her and her legacy.

Double Clap
A fan-favorite tradition is the double clap during the You Belong With Me bridge. After the lyrics “I’m the one who makes you laugh / When you know you’re ’bout to cry,” the crowd joins in with a quick, on-beat clap.

Don't Blame Me
Right after the bridge and just before the breakdown of “Don’t Blame Me,” a fan recorded themselves shouting, “Take me to church, Taylor!” Since then, the chant has spread globally among fans. When Taylor sings, “Every time you’re, every time you’re lovin’ me,” fans enthusiastically respond with, “Take us to church, Taylor!”

Bejeweled
In “Bejeweled,” when Swift sings the line, “By the way,” and pauses, the audience seizes the moment to ask, “Where are you going, Taylor?” To which she responds, “I’m going out tonight.”

Triple Clap
A triple clap follows the pre-chorus in “Shake It Off.” After Swift sings, “But I keep cruisin’ / Can’t stop, won’t stop movin’ / It’s like I got this music in my mind / Sayin’, ‘It’s gonna be alright,’” fans clap three times on the beat.

Bad Blood
Inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics in the “Bad Blood” remix, when Taylor sings, “If you live like that, you live with ghosts,” the crowd responds with, “You forgive, you forget, but you never let it go.”

All Too Well
During “All Too Well” (10-Minute Version), fans yell “How did that make you feel?” right before the lyric “and that made me want to die” to add a playful aspect to the heartbreaking song.
Surprise Songs
During the Eras Tour, Taylor Swift performed “Surprise Songs” – two songs chosen spontaneously from her entire discography at each show. These songs were not part of the setlist and were revealed during the concert, adding an element of excitement and unpredictability. Taylor would typically play them on piano or guitar.
